Umar is the founder and principal consultant of Deep Oracle Consulting Services. He has the overall responsibility for the operational excellence of the firm in delivering services and solutions with passion to our clients.

Umar is a finance transformation and business advisory professional with over 16 years of experience helping organisations enhance financial performance, strengthen governance frameworks, and deliver complex transformation programmes. His industry experience spans the Energy, Food & Beverage, Hospitality, and Consulting sectors, providing him with a broad perspective on industry-specific challenges and leading practices. He brings extensive expertise across financial reporting and consolidation, IFRS compliance and implementation, internal controls, corporate governance, SAP S/4HANA Finance, audit and assurance support, finance process optimisation, data analytics, and intelligent automation.

Throughout his career, Umar has advised and supported organisations on large-scale finance transformation initiatives, ERP implementation and data migration programmes, post-merger integration activities, operating model redesign, process standardisation, and governance enhancement projects. Within the energy sector, he has played key roles in major finance transformation programmes, driving improvements in financial controls, reporting quality, operational efficiency, and management decision-making through technology-enabled transformation.

A SAP S/4HANA Finance Certified Consultant, Umar combines deep finance expertise with strong programme delivery capabilities, enabling organisations to navigate complex business change, strengthen regulatory compliance, and unlock value across the finance function. His experience spans finance operating model transformation, business process re-engineering, performance management, governance and controls enhancement, and the deployment of digital finance solutions that support sustainable business growth.

Umar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ahmadu Bello University, and a Master’s degree in Energy Security Management from the Nigerian Defence Academy. He is a Fellow of several professional bodies, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence, leadership, and continuous professional development.

Imran is a senior software engineer and technology consultant with more than 12 years of experience designing, building and launching web, mobile and cloud applications for businesses. He brings deep expertise in backend architecture, API design, mobile application development, database design, cloud deployment, and AI integration and automation.

Throughout his career, Imran has built and delivered production systems for organisations in mobility and parking technology, financial services, data verification, logistics, and digital content and education. His work includes financial transaction tracking platforms, identity and contact verification APIs, logistics management systems, and content and community applications. He has a proven track record of taking products from concept to launch and keeping them reliable at scale.

Imran combines strong engineering depth with product and leadership experience. He has founded and led technology ventures since 2014, served as Chief Technology Officer, and led teams through the full product lifecycle, from requirements and architecture to delivery and support. He has built AI capabilities into live business systems, including large language model integrations, AI agents, workflow automation, and intelligent document data extraction. He also mentors and trains developers in modern software practices.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with First Class Honours from Ekiti State University.
